`/ Okay, okay, so I admit it: the letters were/fakes, all of them ('cept maybe the bit about4me fancying Carl..... Nah...).
[35m(Due to AJC/banning the editor from commenting in other/peoples stuff, I regret I am unable to correct)the incorrect in this paragraph. Ed.)
[0m/ And this is totally and utterly unrelated to/anything to do with shareware, PD, freeware,/whatever-it's-called-this-week-ware, or indeed(anything else of any interest to anyone./ Actually, I'm going to talk about some/demos. Yeah, that's what I'll do- talk about
Amiga demos.../ Hmm... Okay, first of all the Mad Elks/"Technological Death" demo, which my mate7reckons
[3mmight
[0m need 1meg, but I don't know- it/works on my A500, and that's all that really/matters, isn't it? Anyway, this is a Polish/demo, and it's really groovy. I have no idea/where you can get it from (not me, because my/copy of it corrupted... ARGH!!!!!), but get it/anyway. Actually, I think that it's on the%Euroscene PDCD, so get it from there./ What else? A slideshow, which insists that/it's not a slideshow (it is, but you have to/humour them, don't you...? Well, no, not7really. Right then, it
[1mis
[0m a SLIDESHOW. Ha,/that'll show them...) The "them" in question/being Alcatraz, and the "Picture Collection"/(SLIDESHOW!!!) being a rather good one, with/some nice pics. Although it's not as good as/Prism, by Melon Dezign (the standard by which/all slideshows, ever, are to be judged). It has/its moments, and some of them are very, er...
well, momentous, I suppose.../ Oh, all this computer stuff is dull!!! I'm/learning how to juggle. That's quite interest-/ing. Not very, but quite. I didn't want to/learn to juggle, but the bloke in the juggling/shop where I go to get tips on yo-yo-ing said
that I had to learn./ [Short pause, while Flick goes and finds her/new "intelligent" yo-yo, has a go, decides she/prefers her normal one, and returns to her
keyboard.]/ Shall I tell you why it's intelligent?/Tough, I'm going to anyway... You know when you/make a yo-yo sleep, and normally it's the/string spinning round the shaft? Well on this/one, there's this complicated bit with springs/that means that the string is fixed to the/shaft, and the whole shaft (complete with/string) spins. Isn't that cool??? Unfortunate-/ly, it needs a slightly different action, so I/don't like it as much. It makes Cat's Cradle,*and Walking The Dog rather difficult, too./ Right, I've finished going on about yo-yo's,/now. I was going to say "I've finished boring/you, now", but then I realized that that, isn't/strictly true... Hmm.. what now? Oh, I know:
Specky games./ I was playing Boulderdash and JetPac,/earlier today, aren't they groovy? I have to/say that I even prefer JetPac to Manic Miner!!!
Wow.. that's scary..../ Wasn't AJC's picture good on the front of/the last issue of SW? I particularly liked the/skillful way that you beat the other girls to/the bride's bouquet.... Er.. no. The groovy way/that part of the sky flashed.. I don't think&that it was intentional, like, but..../ I'm actually just looking at SW2, at the/moment... (Trying to figure out how I do that/and type at the same time? Easy: I use a PC..../Ooo... You all hate me even more, now...)/Mmmm.. all of the bits seem both a tad too long/and a tad too computer related... Soon change
that, then..
Bye.

Editors note:/ Due to Flick's very high social/standing, all the pictures she submitted for/this column were in interlace. Unfortunately,/due to this mag's very low production stand-/ards, the inter-bits of hers and Mr. F's pics/had to be squeezed out for use in the column./All is not lost however, as the pics can be/found again in their true flickery glory in the/"Flick and a Fish" picture in this issue's Art
